MEET KT&T
K T & T is a Southern Gospel Trio consisting of husband-and-wife team, Tim and Tonya Puckett and life-long friend Steve Holland. Our music is traditional Southern Gospel Music influenced by past greats like The Happy Goodmans and The Hinsons interpreted by our own personalities and style. When you hear K T & T sing you will know that we love what we do, but much more than that we love serving our risen Savior. The vibrant harmonies ring true but more important is the message in the songs we sing.
In the four years we have been traveling, we have been continually amazed at how God has used our testimonies and songs to encourage the saints and point the lost to Christ. For us, there is no greater joy than sharing the love of Jesus to a hurting world! Our mission and calling is to enlarge the Kingdom of God by leading people to the only One who can save their souls. That is what REVIVAL is all about. Our prayer is, “Lord, send a REVIVAL that sweeps across the land, and let it begin with us.”
In the ministry's first 4 years we have been blessed to work with the best in the industry. To God be the Glory! We have been able to record two CD projects produced by Les Butler of Butler Music Group, Family Music Group and Real Southern Gospel Music Labels and founder of REAL Southern Gospel Radio. From the first project, “When He Steps Out” we released 4 songs to radio which charted on many stations across the country. We have just released the first song, the title track from our latest project, “God of the New" and are praying that the message of this song will resonate with all who hear it.
The psalmist David said, “Because Your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.” (Psalms 63:3)
As long as we have breath, we will praise the One who gave it all that we might live.
Until He comes……..We are K T & T.
Meet Tim
For as long as I can remember, I have been singing. I remember as a child listening to
my Mom and Dad singing gospel music. I attribute being able to hear and sing parts by standing behind my mother in the church choir and hearing her alto voice, trying to match her notes. I remember attending gospel singings listening to my dad sing tenor and of course I would be singing along. Then there was the homecoming service at the church I grew up in. I was 10 years old and J. D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet came and sang after the noon meal. I sat on the front row and listened to them sing, I was hooked. I said to myself, “I want to do that someday.” I have been truly blessed.
God answered that young boy's desire. I have had the opportunity to sing with several
local and regional groups over the last 40 years of my life and now God has made a
way for me to be able to travel and sing with my lovely wife Tonya and lifelong friend
Steve Holland with KT&T. It has been an honor to stand and sing with them over the
last 4 years and I am looking forward to many more years if the Lord wills. I would have never imagined at the age of 10 that God would have seen fit to bless me so. I owe it all to Him. I know He has put music in my heart and as long as I live, I just want to use the talent He has given to lift up and glorify His wonderful name. To God be the Glory, Great Things He has done.

Meet Tonya
I have heard Tonya say many times, "Nobody knows me; I am just known as Tim
Puckett’s wife." Let me introduce you to one of the best voices I have ever heard
anywhere! When you hear her sing, I know you will agree. Her talent for hearing and
singing parts is truly incredible. She can listen to a gospel song and pick out and sing
any part. What is really amazing is that she has never had any professional training.
She truly has a God given talent. Her strong voice is only matched by a strong Love for her Lord. There are so many paths that she could have taken but she has chosen to use her marvelous talent sharing the love of Jesus to everyone she meets. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” -Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
I know what the enemy meant for evil, God meant it for good. Tonya has been able to take the experiences of her past and testify to God’s goodness in her life. Those testimonies coupled with her singing is what makes her so special and an integral part of the ministry of KT&T. What a joy it is for me to stand and sing with her. I tell everyone that she makes me sound good- I really mean that! When God put us together, I believe He knew that we needed each other. I am thankful that she is my partner in ministry and life. Let me introduce you to my singing partner, my wife and the love of my life, Tonya Puckett.
Meet Steve
Steve Holland is a life-long friend. We have known each other since grade school. For
as long as I have known Steve he has always loved music. Like myself, Steve has been
around Southern Gospel music most of his life. He has shared his talents with several
local and regional groups through the years. He is a talented pianist, singer and song
writer. He co-authored “If it Wasn’t for the Cross” on our first CD project and authored
“Sweet Peace I’ve Found” on our latest CD project “God of the New”. His rich baritone
voice is a perfect match for us and we are so glad that he has chosen to share his
talents with KT&T. Steve has an uncanny way of using humor to uplift and relate to
our audiences. I know he loves music but I also know he loves the Lord. It means so
much to me knowing that when we have the opportunity to sing, that every member of KT&T has that personal relationship with the Lord. Steve’s relationship with Him
shines through every time we sing. Steve could be using his talents anywhere, but I am thankful he chooses to use his talents, not only singing but playing the piano also with us. We are so thankful that Steve and his wife Lisa are in this family we call KT&T.

The History of KT&T
K T & T began when God placed in mine and Tonya’s heart the desire to sing Southern Gospel Music again. Both Tonya and I had sang together about 35 years ago in a local group birthed out of us both working at a Christian Radio station. When Tonya and I married we were serving on the Praise and Worship team at our home church First Assembly of God in Mayfield, KY. I truly believe that God uses seasons in our lives to accomplish His will in our lives. A season of about 15 years of our serving as a part of the praise and worship team had come to an end and not long after God began to place the desire in our hearts to use the talents he gave us to sing Southern Gospel Music again. Tonya and I asked our friend Kathy Copeland if she would like to be a part of what we felt God was calling us to do. Kathy was a retired music teacher, talented singer and accomplished pianist. We met and sang a few songs around the piano and KT&T was born in the fall of 2020. Many have asked what K T & T stands for. K is for Kathy, T is for Tim and T is for Tonya. We felt like the name had a ring to it and although we lost Kathy when she graduated to her heavenly home September 23, 2023, we just felt like we had to keep the name. We miss our dear sister, but we know we will see her again. Steve Holland joined K T & T about 6 months later. Losing Kathy was a difficult thing to understand but God always has a plan. God knew He would be taking Kathy home and we believe He placed Steve in our ministry to fill that void.
In just 4 years God has done so much and we absolutely give Him all the Glory and Honor for what He has done. In that short time KT&T has sung in countless homecomings, revivals, conventions both locally and regionally. We have had the opportunity to sing at gospel conventions in North Carolina and the 3rd Annual Gospel Music Festival and The National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge Tennessee in September of 2024. In October of 2024 we had the privilege to be a part of The Blue Ridge Gospel Fall Fundraiser on Mountain Gospel Radio. We have hosted a two-day event “A Real Southern Gospel Revival" in August 2023 featuring The Williamsons, Fields of Grace, Barry Rowland and Deliverance and Old Time Preachers Quartet in our home town Mayfield, KY. July of 2024 we hosted the Mylon Hayes Family for a “Real Southern Gospel Evening” in Paducah, KY. Both of these events were emcee’d by Les Butler.
We have been able to record three CD projects produced by Les Butler of Butler Music Group, Family Music Group and REAL Southern Gospel Music and founder of REAL Southern Gospel Radio. “When He Steps Out” was the first project and several songs were released to radio from that project and charted on many stations across the country. The second project is titled “God of the New” and the title cut was released to radio January 3, 2025. In September of 2025 we put the finishing touches on a project titled “Yesterday's Hits - Today's Treasures”. This project contains 10 of our favorite Southern Gospel Songs and we believe you will find they truly are a treasure. In our concerts its so much fun to sing these songs and find that everyone is singing along. In August of 2024 we were honored to be signed to the roster of talent for the Real Southern Gospel Talent Agency. We are so thankful to Les for his guidance and friendship as our producer. We owe a debt of gratitude to our friend Eric Horner for this introduction.
January of 2025 we traveled to Norcross, GA to tape for the TV Show “Behind the Scenes with Sacred Harmony” that will air on WATC TV in Atlanta. We are looking forward to a great 2025 if the Lord should tarry his coming. We feel like the time is shorter than ever and we need to be about the Father’s business.
